Dining Experience: The dinner menu at Biblical Times Dinner Theater offers a range of comforting options, including baked chicken, barbecued ribs, baked beans, mashed potatoes, and corn. While some guests have noted variations in food quality—like the tenderness of chicken—most agree that the flavors are enjoyable. Although seasonings and accompaniments like butter could enhance the meals, the core offerings are satisfactory for a regional dinner theater.

  • Baked Chicken: A mixed experience with some finding it slightly dry while others enjoyed its juiciness.
  • Barbecued Ribs: Praised for their bold and enjoyable flavor, making them a standout choice.
  • Side Dishes: While the baked beans and corn were well-received, the mashed potatoes were deemed over-seasoned for some.
  • On the Table: Each meal is served on a convenient tray within cushioned seating, promoting a relaxed dining experience.

Theatrical Journey: The entertainment, however, is the highlight of your visit. Performing six talented singers, the show callously combines Southern Gospel tunes with modern numbers, creating an enchanting atmosphere that resonates with audiences. The integration of holographic technology is nothing short of impressive—it seamlessly complements the performance without detracting from the live elements, leaving the audience in awe.

Guests can look forward to engaging narratives that convey powerful stories from the Bible. One review highlighted "Women of Grace," shedding light on the lives of notable biblical women and crafting an inspiring theatrical experience that can evoke tears, as seen in the heart-stirring rendition of "Alabaster Box."

The dinner meal is on par with that of a regional dinner theater. We were served baked chicken ( mine was just a little dry but my wife's was tender and juicy) and barbecued ribs which were flavorful and enjoyable. Alongside were baked beans, mashed potatoes and corn. All were very good but suffered for lack of butter and seasonings. Except the mashed potatoes which were w bit over seasoned with garlic for my taste. A dinner roll accompanied the meal but alas no butter. The seating was cushioned and wider than most. Comfortable with an integral tray on which the meal was served. The holographic technology both supported the play and amazed me in its flawless integration. Seamless! I didn't always discern when it was being used. The play is presented by 6 talented singers. They sang with all their hearts! I recommend this show as long as you adjust your expectations to the technology it employs. It is as well acted at a regional level.

I was shocked at this hidden gem here in Pigeon Forge. From the moment you purchased tickets till you walk out the door the staff were amazing and helpful. The pre show was funny and light, perfect while you are eating your meal. The wait staff were friendly and helpful, very attentive to all our needs. The food was hot and very tasty, obvious that it was home made and not out of a box. When the first act started my group was blown away. These performer had amazing voices that blended perfectly. The program was a great combination of older Southern Gospel and more modern numbers. By intermission we truly felt like we were in Church! After intermission the drama "Women of Grace" was performed. It was the story of three women of the Bible, Mary of Bethany, The Women at the Well and the Women with the Issuance of Blood and how their lives were changed when they met Christ. WOW this was a very powerful story. When we got to the last song, Alabaster Box I was in tears. The cast sang this song with such passion and expression. Afterwards as they were finishing up one of the cast members stated that they had prayed for us before the show began and that they would pray for anyone out front after the show as well. What theater do you experience this! I will be bringing all of my family and friends to see the Christmas show "A Savior is Come" when it open in November. Don't miss this amazing show!

Wow! I've heard this place may have had struggles in the past, but give it another chance!!!!! This new cast is phenomenal! Voices that are superb. Theatrical talent was fabulous! And the story they told was so beautifully depicted! This is a MUST go to show in the area! I've even read some poor reviews here on the food... not at all the case when we went... all food served warm, chicken was good, ribs were great, corn and potatoes were good as well. Not a problem for us.

I really enjoyed visiting this place. It was quite surreal seeing the shroud. And the presentation was very unique.

Lots of Jesus flare everywhere!!! We bought few things from souvenir shop. So much to choose from wooden crosses to huge Jesus statues. The music covers several generations, old and new hymns. If you want some good old fashioned worship mixed with new this is a wonderful place to visit. They do a Pastoral and Military Discount.

We had the vegetarian meals and they were delicious! The service was outstanding and the atmosphere couldn't be better! Suggestions for the show are only two: 1. If you're playing King Herod, he wouldn't in a million years say: "I got this!" I think that expression just surfaced during this century. 2. This is a play about the birth of the Messiah. The woman playing Sarah that was stuffing her mouth with food to the point where it was about to come out of her mouth, and thought it would be funny........it wasn't. It was gluttony. It's a serious play folks, not a comedy. Minor things, I know. And the good far outweighed the bad, hence the five star review. God bless you all!

The entertainment part of this is spot on once it gets past the intro (it's cheesy)! But the singing and then the play were awesome. Their use of projection screens were amazing. We love biblical plays teaches the story in a way that makes it understandable by all. I don't know if the dinner is optional but if it is save your money and just go to the show! It was all served cold. The smoked chicken was overcooked and dry, the pot roast was salty, Mac and cheese was cold and all stuck together. I can go on but just eat before you go!!!!! The wonderful story line of the play makes you forget the meal.
